Overview of Mulberrys Laundry & Dry Cleaning Franchises
Mulberrys Garment Care was founded in 2009 by Dan Miller. Prior to starting Mulberrys, Dan had been a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. In that position he had the opportunity to observe best practices of a number of leading Fortune 500 consumer brands.
One day, after a particularly bad dry cleaning experience, Dan realized that that the focus on world-class customer experience that he had observed in other markets was missing from the $9 billion dry cleaning and laundry industry.
From that insight, Mulberrys was born.
Mulberrys currently serves the Minneapolis-St. Paul and San Francisco Bay area and is looking to accelerate our expansion throughout the country.
Mulberrys offers area development franchises, which enable you to develop multiple Mulberrys dry cleaning and laundry locations within an assigned region. You'll start your franchising journey with a Mulberrys flagship location with cleaning on site. Then you will have the opportunity to add additional pickup and drop-off locations that can be serviced by that flagship. In addition, you will be able to provide your customers with convenient pickup and delivery service with our home delivery and 24/7 lockers.

Mulberrys’ mission is to become the leading provider of premium, toxin-free dry cleaning and laundry products and services.
Mulberrys’ slogan is “dry cleaning and laundry reimagined.” We want every touch point with our customers to be a step-above anything they’ve experienced in the dry cleaning industry. We build this experience on four core pillars: 1) Delightful customer experience, 2) Focus on sustainability, 3) State-of-the-art technology, and 4) World-class operations.
The Mulberrys Dry Cleaners & Laundry Experience
Mulberrys stores are beautiful boutiques that look more like a spa than a dry cleaner. We sell environmentally-friendly cleaning and home products and give our clients free coffee, kids treats, and dog biscuits. Our stores are open extended hours, seven days a week and we have a 24 hour drop box at each location. Clothing is pressed by garment care experts with decades of experience and returned on wood hangers in recyclable packaging.
Through our best-in-class mobile app, clients can order a pickup, on-demand in as fast as 15 minutes and track their order from pickup to drop off. If they would like to pickup at the store they can alert us ahead of time via our epickup feature and the clothes will be out waiting for them. Mulberrys employs this same next-level technology in our cleaning facility where we use automated assembly systems to assemble, bag and sort orders for delivery. We also barcode every garment and scan it at every step so the customer can see where their garment is at any given moment. All of this technology is deployed so that we can offer our customers a world of services including dry cleaning, laundry, alterations, leather and fur cleaning, and shoe shine and repair.

Mulberrys is looking to expand our brand throughout the United States. Franchisees will start with our state-of-the-art cleaning lab store and then build out additional satellite stores and delivery routes in their local metro area.

Yes, Mulberrys’ royalty fee is 5% of net sales, which is paid monthly through electronic funds transfer. We also collect a 2% marketing fee on net sales to fund marketing.
